Peggy has stepped down to the easy life of bookkeeping. Now, not in charge she can actually have a life outside of Takara Bead, Go Peggy!

Peggy’s family has been in the town of Cougar since the late 1800's and has the stories to prove it. If you want a great story Peggy has plenty for any type of situation.

She is the go to person on bead colors. When there are questions on identifying a bead whether a brand of bead or a color, she is the one to ask.  She works with so many colors daily and can tell you which color goes to every Toho number.

She has a huge heart and a big animal lover. From a petting zoo to rescuing the neighborhood’s neglected animals, it’s never a dull moment at home on the farm. So far this year she took in a malnourished sheep, a fleet of forgotten chickens and ducks that a neighbor let free thinking they live on grass. It took them 3 weeks to realize that next door there was food and water with fellow company.

Sandra got a call from her previous employer for an abandoned bunny at their building and so Harriet was welcomed in. The latest adventure with a Great Horned Owl only lasted a day, but it was exciting.

She had foster children for 3 years, and ran a home for pregnant women in Denver for about 5 years.

Right now Peggy’s favorite past time is to play the game Risk online which Trista believes she should play it all day on Fridays, but she doesn’t want to get in trouble with the “boss”! Tyler would love her to play all the time too, last week he brought over a game just so Grandma Peggy could play it. She enjoys every moment working close to home and being able to still spend time with family and friends. So if you call asking for her, and she’s off of work today, you know she is having a good time in town.
